Established January 2005.

Lyme Regis Taekwondo is the sister club of Dorset Taekwondo in Bournemouth and is also a member of British Taekwondo and trains in WT Olympic style TKD.

The club started with 4 members and has gradually grown, it has taught 9 students to black belt level, quite an achievement for a small club

Lyme TKD is a very friendly club which prides itself being fully inclusive and on having a great community spirit – the club will be seen showing Displays at events in the town throughout the year, and attending various Community activities – Including the May Day Fete and Carnival Week. 

The student age range is from 5 years old through to adults and all abilities from White Belt to Black Belt.

Class schedule –

Mondays Poomsae development – Peek Hall Rousdon – 6.15pm – 7.30pm

Tuesdays all abilities and grades –The Scout Hut, Rhode Lane –

5-9yr olds – 5pm -6pm

10-15yr Olds – 6pm-7pm

High grades, 16+ & Adults – 7pm -8.15pm
